Same story here.
I had the wsm 18.5 for a month or so - but really needed space if I was doing ribs and also wanted to make beans. So I sold it and have not regretted.

I bought the 18.5" used it for a month and sold it. Tomorrow the 22.5" will be delivered
I think I could use some more space also because I would like to invite others for som BBQ.
I am going to build the Mini wsm this summer for the occasional butt.

I just sold my 18.5 wsm - it is currently being shipped to a new home.
I have bought the 22.5 instead. My rationale was:
I do BBQ maybe 2 times a month, so even it is a bit more fuel hungry it is OK.
We are a family of 5 ( I have three boys) and when they get bigger they will crave meat...
I am going to have a look at the clay pot. But first I have to pack my now old wsm 18.5 and ship it to the guy who bought it yesterday. Then buy the 22.5" :-)

I was firing up my wsm 18.5 last afternoon for some baby back ribs. This gave me some challenges - I was unable to get the temp over 190 - so I cooked the ribs in the oven the last hour and everything turned out all right although the onions in my beans could have used more heat and time.
