Weber Summit Charcoal Grill - Rib Rack? What are you using?

Weber Summit Charcoal Grill - Rib Rack? What are you using? - I haven't cooked ribs in a traditional rib rack for years. I have used my WSM with a rotisserie but tomorrow I plan on cranking up the WSCG and tossing on 4 racks of babybacks. Suggestions on rib racK? It shouldn't be this hard right?

How low can you maintain on WSC?

Thought I saw a video from Baby Back Maniac where he ran three full chimneys worth of coal and lit 15-20 using minion and for a crazy, no food burn, for something like 2 days around the 200 degeee mark. Check you tube for the video was pretty interesting. I have only gotten in two short cooks...

    Summit 670 Rusting

I noticed while replacing the doors this weekend that the handles, took hangers are all pitting bad so I have new ones on the way as well as both side tables - I have asked for a new lid but they have stated surface rust isn't covered only rust through - seems to be hit or miss with the...

Question on the 3-2-1 rib method

I don't foil either. Just curious if burger paper would work the same for Ribs -

    What's your favorite WSM accessories?

WSM - has to have the door, gasket upgraded thermometer and as stated the chimney is also a give (Weber 1st place for sure here) - my favorite has to be the Rib Rack rotisserie with a close 2nd being the performer cart I have it mounted on. Flame Boss might be next favorite addition.

    Top rack vs bottom rack

My 18.5 and my 22.5 both run a few degrees different but I don't use water I use a clay pot saucer which seems to keep the temps in check. Use oven thermostats to check the grate level heat if you want a inexpensive way to check

    Summit 670 Rusting

Norton sorry I have been offline for a bit - mine is a 2015 model picked up in August of 15. I just had my 2nd set of doors replaced but this time they agreed to send the powder coated doors. We moved the grill in May/Jun to our new house so I don't believe it to be environmentally in relation...

    Summit 670 Rusting

it didn't take long for my 670-S to start rusting on the doors - after a call to Weber they were eager to replace the doors. As usual their warranty pulls through once again. The one complaint i do have is they refused to replace with black doors stating it was an upgrade and would void my...

Weber Summit Charcoal Grill and Summit Charcoal Grilling Center - New for 2016

Just my .02 - I don't believe Weber is going after their existing customer base. For the majority of us we own WSM(s), some version of Gas, and kettles or performers. Each serves its own purpose and fit the bill extremely well. This unit is an attempt to consolidate all of the bells and whistles...
