I will just leave this here

Here's one I've never seen before. Be interested to hear what the experts here say: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1584611075411990/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks

Not a gasser, but seems people are looking for these. About 10 minutes from my house.... 22" Platypus

NLA 40968012 Grease Pan for Genesis x000 Grills: Potential Reproduction Stainless Steel Option

I'd pay for a stainless option on my 5000. Of course, I'm in the group that will be keeping my grill, not flipping it. That makes a considerable difference.

    Thumbs up to Weber Support!

I'm really not sure. I use the grill a couple times per month (usually on the gasser). Generally, I have the charcoal centered for high heat. The only thing that I do that may have accelerated the problem is using the pizza kettle and routinely getting that over 1000 degrees (verified with 3...

    Thumbs up to Weber Support!

No, it's part of the spider grill system. Fit's perfectly and does a great job of controlling temps.

    Thumbs up to Weber Support!

Was out cooking steaks on my Performer last night when one of the grate supports fell into the fire. Didn't burn the steaks, but did put me on fire (figuratively, of course) for a bit. I purchased the grill in 2012 and finally got around to registering it in 2017. Fast forward to this...

    Summit 420 repair attempt

From what I've read here about these Summits, your luck is beyond fantastic - it is Powerball ticket buying worthy good. Looking forward to watching these builds progress. Way more grill than I'll ever need, but great to see people that know how to do stuff - do it.

    Curb Alert !!!

I've always wanted to replace the hood on my 5000 since I bought it to the blue version. I currently have the mauve (?) version and, while it's ok, it is certainly not UK blue. Wish those finds would happen in SC. Glad you saved it from the heap. If it wasn't so expensive and undependable to...

    Genesis 3xx Grease pan

This EXACTLY the post that I referenced earlier. Thank you for this as the timing was impeccable.

    Genesis 3xx Grease pan

I was thinking the same. On the 5000, the drip pan is actually mounted to the tray and suspends downward. The 3xx tray doesn't have that attachment, but nothing a wire clothes-hanger couldn't fix. Or I can find the drip pan cheap virtually anywhere if I need to pretty it up - mine is a...

    Genesis 3xx Grease pan

Directly from Weber. Called them Thursday after I noticed a small rust spot on mine. Saw the post here that someone mentioned and ordered immediately so as not to get "backordered." I just need to figure out how to move the grease catch pan as it mounts differently (I'm sure you're already...

    Genesis 3xx Grease pan

I just purchased PN 62757 and received it this morning. It is a DIRECT fit for my 5000 that I purchased 2 years ago from Joe. Only change is that the grease will now collect on the left edge instead of the center. Just over $80 shipped to SC. Gary

Griddle options for 2011 to 2016 Genesis 330

Griddle options for 2011 to 2016 Genesis 330

3/16" Figured I wanted a bit more heft to hold heat, but 1/4" was overkill and just added length of time to heat in winter. The owner of the shop is very responsive if you have any specific questions or size requirements.

Griddle options for 2011 to 2016 Genesis 330

Yep. It weighs enough that you can work on it w/out it sliding around. But not so heavy that you can't lift if off and set aside when cooking on the grates. I'd highly recommend a set of heat-proof mitts if you don't already have them in the event that you need to move it shortly after...
