    They did have a couple kool features, one of them being the condiment tray in front of the control panel. I’ve not seen that on any others of the 1000 series. I’ve got one behind the shop I’ve been parting out for a few years as quite a few parts on it were throw aways. Still have the hood...

    yah know Bruce...that grain pattern really is exaggerated in the picture. the color differences are not that prominent in the natural lighting

    The good thing about the Skyline restore Bruce is the durawood is in great shape so the handle and tables are piece o cake. Just need to do frame work. The typical firebox bolt side, and on this one...the front firebox rail has cancer bad. So some cutting and patching are in order. I have some...

    7 years and time for a clean up

    Thanks Bruce. I’ve got a hardwood guy in town. He hooks me up with cedar deck planks. I have to rip them to size but the price is right. It’s an exterior Spar Urethane. Ultimate Spar by Varathane. Really works for me. This cooker stays uncovered in the sun and elements. I have to touch them up...
