WTB - OLDER WEBER UTENSILS (TIMBER HANDLES)

There were a variety of Weber tool sets with wood handles back in the day. The cheaper ones were probably rather mediocre, but I think the more expensive sets from then are very decent.

I’ve been lurking on this thread for a week or so thinking…”I’ve got a NOS set of some type out in the shop that I’ve never even opened”. Motivation finally set in well enough for me to grab it down off the shelf for an unboxing and shared photos. There’s not a singular identifying mark on the box to point towards a manufacturer or anything of the sort so have fun speculating. As I suspected, they’ve never been used and each utensil was still wrapped in its’ original tissue paper. FWIW - they’re not really that well built and reek of a late 70’s retro vibe. Definitely not my cup of tea but somebody might enjoy the pics if nothing else.

Thanks for sharing. That is a cool find and if you ask me, they are probably a pretty decent set of tools. I wonder if they were not some kind of promotional item that was given away with grills back 50-60 years ago.

Cheers for the responses guys.

So I had a set of utensils that a mate of mine begged me for so I gave them up, but would like another set to use for resto pics.

The pic attached is the old set that I had.

Cheers, Mark
Mark do you still have this grill?
