WSM's at the Jack

Attended the Jack yesterday and was impressed with the amount of WSM's I saw. At least 6-7 teams (backyard and international teams) were using nothing but WSM's. With the amount of teams and all the smokers used, the WSM's had a good showing.
They were expecting at least 30,000 people there yesterday and I would say they had every bit of it. What a BBQ comp!
 
I use three when we compete.

Having multiple smokers allows you to cook each meat differently in terms of temp and time. I've seen a few successful teams do a similar thing with three BGE.

If you do any cost/benefit analysis, like I have, you'll see that most of the smokers on the market start at a price higher than what three wsms cost.

For us, who like to compete, but have no desire to invest in a smoker that cost 1000's of dollars, the wsm is the clear choice.
