Just got my wsm and I am ready to learn never used one before. Any secrets in using the wsm. I

I got a thermometer to insert in the top vent. I have heard about a lot of good tasting eats. Any suggestions ?

1-Read the website. Good stuff.
2-On your first cook,don't invite a bunch of people over for Q. The pressure will kill you.
3-Pork seems to be the most forgiving for Q,
especially the fatter cuts.
4-Allow extra time for the cooking. Use the wrap and hold method if it gets done too early.
5-Allow the WSM to do its thing as far as maintaining temps.
6-As I've said before,"In spite of my best efforts,the WSM always gets the meat done just right.
