Collin, great to hear about your new toy! My WSM just was delivered 2 hours ago! I just put it together and set it next to my old E.C.B.
I gotta say one thing about this WSM, it is even bigger then I thought it would be! Like you guys, I can't wait for the very first smoke. Don't know if I want the first to be Ribs, or four pork butts...

There's no bad first cook but I must say, chicken halves on the WSM are cheap, fast, easy and incredibly delicious.

That was my first cook, but get a butt on there as soon as you can. Enjoy and congrats!

Thanks for all the replies. My dad and i have just put on two pork butts (Mr Brown) with apple wood. Its are first smoke and so far far we have bean having a blast.
