WSM Double Stack

I've got an extra center section and want to double stack. My question is do I need to use the Weber Straps or can I get by with SS bolts?

I'm only planning on cooking 2-3 turkey breasts per shelf. I don't think that will distort the ring but wasn't sure.

If I was doing one, I would just use the bolts. I don't see those flat straps adding anything to the rigidity of the mid-section.
Granted if you had them than I would use em, but I wouldn't spend the extra cash and order em just to hold up a few grates.

I got 2 of my friends WSMs for their weddings and I've got a PIC like that with a triple stacker.

I also called Weber to order a some new parts. the straps were $11 with the HW so a no brainer for me I got them a new door, and 2 new grates for $62 shipped.

Pics to follow in 2-3 weeks when it all comes in and I can use it.
