WSM Chimney in progress ...............pix

Ok, started working on chimney for the 22 WSM. Ordered some custom brackets from weber..........................yeah right =)
Made some custom brackets and installed, half way done. Any input is very welcome.

Purpose- smoke comes out about 2 feet above my head and not right in my fase, I hope anyways.
Only one way to find out =)

Everything I know about chimeys, tells me at this will increase the airflow. But maybe the temperature is too low for this effect to happen. I'm no expert. As mentioned before, looking forward for the report. This looks great!

Well, this is generally true, but in this case he needs to open/cut out the lid vent to the same diameter as the chimney for that to happen, but will be restricted by volume of air intake.
But as for strictly diverting exhaust, I think it'll work as planned.
