WSM 18.5" bottom vents and top vent replacements

Hi all,

I've been going crazy trying to find replacement vents/dampers for the bottom and top of my 18.5" WSM. Does anyone have a link to a good vendor, please?

Old ones that bad ? But yea, just call weber. But forget the junk hardware, get ss hardware.

$10.50 per vent seems like an absolute rip off.... It will teach me to never smoke in the rain I suppose, though.

I looked for the top damper but it shows the same item as the bottom damper so a phone call might be needed to be sure you getting the correct item

The vents are aluminum & don't rust (they do get corrosion after a while - not a big problem). Usually sold in a package of three.

btw: found taping the damper at the edges with masking/painters tape then griding the head of the rivet off was easier then drilling and crushing the rivet from the inside. Less chance of deforming the hole area of the lid/bottom . . . but, to each thier own

Troy, are the vents not salvagable ? 10.50 ea from weber ? That is a bit much. As to the rivets, I just ground them off on the inside with my dremel.
