Picked this up for free today. The person said it was apple, cherry, peach or pear? I have no clue. Any wood experts out there?! I would greatly appreciate it!
This is what I got:

Crappy pics --- hope someone can identify what i got! :)

I can get more pics if needed

Not sure, but I think it's apple. The bark doesn't look like any pear that I've ever seen. Also, the peach and cherry that I've used have more color to the wood.

Definately not pear. Pear wood normally has almost a purplish hue to it and it has a very strong aroma.

If you break open a branch or saw on it, what does the freshly opened piece smell like? Apple smells, well, like an apple.

It could be peach. I've got a lot of peach and it looks quite similar.

That second pic looks identical to some old peach I have in the garage, so does the cut-thru on the third pic.
Either way nice score..

I was just out at the shed and it looked different from my peach. My apple's bark has long been gone, but I'm still leaning that way.

Looks like apple, but it also looks like it has grown alot faster than my apple wood. I live in arctic conditions, and that might have something to do with it.

Heat some and smell. That's the best test.

It definitely looks like a "fruit" wood so just go with it. You may be able to tell more when you smell the smoke. Great find.
