So I meant to cook these up Saturday afternoon....but after watching my Dawgs get clown stomped by ASU it was just liquid refreshments the rest of the night. Wife is 6 months pregnant so nothing sounded good for dinner on Sunday....so wings it was for me!! The 3.5 year old even said he wanted to some wings (he's picky)....no way he's even gonna try it but I'll play.
I seasoned up the wings with my own rub....1 part granulated onion....1 part granulated garlic.....1/2 part cumin......1/2 part paprika.....some brown sugar.....a little dry mustard.....pinch of sea salt (need to watch the sodium intake so I make my own rub with wayyyyyy less salt than store bought rubs.) Then I put them on the OTG indirect with mix of KBB and Royal Oak Lump and a couple of small chunks of hickory.

Had all vents wide open and cooked them for about 20 minutes......flipped 'em over and cooked for about 15-20 minutes more. I then took off the lid and crisped up the skin over direct heat.

These may have been some of the best wings I've done! I think I say that every time...but still. Also, dipped some in Frank's Red Hot sauce. Really good....even little buddy took some bites (No Franks with his) and about brought a tear to me eye cause he doesn't eat anything! (This is where I made a mistake and should taken a pic of him trying the wings.....I'll do better next time!)
I thought they were good anyways.

Thanks for looking and Go Dawgs!!
