Wicked Good & minion method

ok .i managed to get my hands on a couple bags of Wicked Good Comp Blend lump. I dont have much experience cooking with lump so Im curious as to whether I can use the minion method with it like I would Kingsford? Plan on experimenting with it this wekeend possibly
 
Yes you can and should use minion method.

Pack the pieces in so that there are few gaps between them when you load the ring. Load the ring full, shut the vents when finished cooking so you can reuse what's left.

Ps- Wicked good comp sometimes is a bit slow in lighting, some use charcoal to start, I use other lumps to begin with (royal oak, b & b).

Good luck, it is a superior product.
 
cool...I heard about the hard lighting thing. I use a weber chimney on top of turkey fryer so lighting should not be an issue..
