Which burner tube kit for the 2000-2001 Genesis Gold C ?

Can you guys let me know which Weber part number is the correct one for my model? As you know the Weber website sucks and most other sites that sells replacement parts list every other model as "compatible". I narrowed it down to the 7508 based on their website for parts but figured I ask the gurus here. Pic attached for the model I have.

Like you say, that looks like a 2000-2001 Gold C.

Look at pages 8-9 of this brochure:

https://tvwbb.com/docs/2001-weber-genesis-series-brochure.pdf

Here is the schematic:

https://www.weber.com/US/en/help/schematics/browse/3261001

Items 45-47 of the schematic are the burner tubes. They include a link to buy replacement burner tubes. The link goes to model 7506:

https://www.weber.com/US/en/accessories/care/gas-grill-replacement-parts/7506.html

"Fits: Genesis® 1000-5500, Genesis® Gold/Platinum (prior to 2002 model year) and Platinum I/II gas grills"

I think you need the 7506, not the 7508. Hopefully, someone that owns one of these will chime in. Otherwise, your best bet is to give Weber a call. Beautiful grill, by the way.

JGrotz: those are kind of orphan Weber grills and confusing to find parts for, but I think you have it spot on for what the OP needs in burner tubes.

JGrotz, Thanks for the info. I found my manual and plugged in the serial # DA 0793594 on this Weber site:

It brings up this schematics link which looks like the right one but references a different part number:

It indcated that the part # is 20428 and the description is "Burner tube kit, Genesis 1-5500, Platinum, Genesis Gold 2000-2001, Genesis Platinum"
I searched part # 20428 to see what I get. Seems like both part #s works. Looks like 20428 just happens to replace 7506.
Their website is SO confusing!! I noticed the newer designs no longer use the plastic spider filters since they are built in now hence the new part #s but gosh they don't make it easy.

Thanks I figured I should give it the TLC it serves.

Weber uses two different part # systems from what I can tell. Most of their parts have the 5 digit part number, but some of the more common parts have the 4 digit number.

I think it’s the other way around. 7506 is the current part number. Be sure to post before during and after pics. You have a very special and rare grill there.

Figures. That's Weber website for ya. If OEM is not available does anyone recommend another brand thats just as good or even better? Definitely will post before and after shots once I get the part.

Thanks Bruce,
Was just staring at those but didn't see any reviews so was a little hesitent. Are they all coming from the same manufacturer and same grade/quality? Weber obviously don't make it themselves but at more than half the price and a coupon I guess I can afford to give it a try.

Stanbroil sells a lot of aftermarket Weber parts. I don't know what factory they come from (most likely in China) but the company is based in the US.

Got all three 3 different branded model 7506 burner tubes! Purchased the Stanbroils that Bruce recommended as well as the other two brands from Amazon, BBQ Toro and Only Fire. Ironically they are all the same all the way down to the box and the zip ties (prob same factory in China). BBQ Toro did include a meat thermometer nothing to write home about. All the links are in the previous posts. Stanbroil was the cheapest so those two other brands are going back to Kohls for Amazon return. Thanks to Bobby and JGrotz for their imput too.

I started to remove the old burners. Here's the pics of that process.

The new burners installed.

Maybe after the summer I will give the box a good scrub and refurb.

George: Very common for many retailers to sell the exact same Chinese product under different names. Glad you found something that worked for a decent price. Let us know how they work in the new grill. Pictures required.

Polling the group.....would it be overkill to reuse the old plastic spider filters with the new burners? The screens that are built into the new ones are not as fine and I'm paranoid. Thoughts?

For those of you that didn't see the ss flavorizer bars and ss grates are from Dave aka Rcplanbuyer. Pics below.... In between posting I threw two steaks on the grill. How do you guys clean your grates? High fire for 15 mins then scrub with the BBQ grill brush? Always after grilling or before next grill day?
