Where can I buy beef back ribs in the Mid Atlantic area?

I am looking to get some beef back ribs, and I can't find them anywhere. I live in MD, but I am close to DC, and Northern VA. Everywhere I go, no one has them. The big stores, (Giant, Safeway) and my local butcher doesn't have them. The butcher will order them for me at $7.50/lb. That aint gonna happen. Anyone know where I can pick up some beef ribs, or why no one carries them?

I just picked some up at a local grocery for $1.49/lb. Being the 4th there is a lot of stock that isn't usually there. I find them off and on. If you have a Safeway meat dept, ask the butcher to cut you some. You need to find a meat dept that butchers and processes the whole steer. If all else fails try online. Here is one I found:

The local Wal-Mart is knee deep in Beef Ribs. I've never seen so many before.

They got a lot of Spares, BB, and Brisket packers too.
