Where are the $179 wsm's from Amazon I've read about?

Several posts have talked about WSM at amazon for 179, free shipping. I just got back in town and was looking, and they are the 199. Not sure about the shipping. Am i looking in the wrong place or was that misinformation?

If you're refering to the post I think you are, I'm pretty sure it said it was a "Friday Sale" or something to that affect. Prices went back up on Saturday. Sorry you missed it..

Yes, it was a special Friday Sale price. Amazon is really playing with WSM pricing this year. It's been up and down a lot lately.

Maybe they were just clearing out the wsm's to make room for the new 22 1/2 inch WSM's, lol

If you buy one and they drop the price within 30 days they will refund the difference. They did for me recently as I bought one for my son at $239, emailed them when it was posted here that the price dropped to $199. I'm impressed.

My only two gripes with the WSM is its 18`` size which is a little tight and also, I really wish Weber would put handles on the bottom and middle chamber. Not necessary but it would be "convenient".
