Whatcha cookin this weekend?


 
Currently planning on a double butt overnighter tomorrow night to pull and store for vacation in 2 weeks. Might throw on a few fatties or somthing else just for some fun.
 
I'm mainly grilling. Tonight have a nice big ribeye that I'm going to split with my wife (it's very thick).

Tomorrow, I'm going to grill some pizzas.

Sunday, I'm going to make the gyros, as per K Kruger's recipe.
 
I just put an untrimmed trimmed rack of spares on the Performer, simply seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic, cooking around 350º indirect, then gonna finish over direct flipping a few times.

Tomorrow, I don't have a clue. After seeing the pic's of pizza posted earlier in the week, I think I may do a few at some point this weekend!
 
Frying up some wings tonight, going to try REALLY hard to get the g/f to go for something off the smoker tomorrow.

Working the gasser this weekend. Got a real thick ribeye and sone baked taters going now. Tomorrow we're having some salmon fillets. Not sure what I'm doing sunday. Kinda wanting some chicken parts. We'll see what the missus says.
 
Happy Aloha Friday! Rotissin' a 125 lb hog for "client" tomorrow. Just got the truck loaded with the rotisserie and have to assemble some other tools and stuffs; knives, trussing needle, tie wire, lemongrass and salt. Weather should be in the high 70s to low 80s... PERFECT!

I smoked a couple racks of ribs and a small pork butt. The pork butt is just now resting to be pulled soon for sandwiches tomorrow. The ribs were for tonight's dinner.

TBD, but I'm building a play area and assembling a swingset this weekend. Plenty of time in the yard means there needs to be something cooking on the patio. I just don't know what I want to cook.

I plan to WSM another butt on Sunday.
Hope it turns out as good looking as DL's did on his OTG.
 
I'm just about to throw a variety of sausages (brats, italian, pork/lamb combo and chicken/sun dried tomatoes) on my kettle.

Tomorrow night I'll be doing my first WSM cook with a couple of butts for pulled pork.

It's gonna be a good weekend.
 
Did Korean BBQ short ribs on the gasser this eve. Was planning on grilled pizza tomorrow (too), but found a willing fishing buddy to head up into the foothills; so Saturday will be kamikaze (20+ hr) day fly fishing. Maybe the pizza's will appear on Sunday.
 
I'm doing chicken fajitas, beef fajitas, salsa fresca, guacamole and oxacan rice tomorrow for the daughter's birthday dinner request

wanted to do masa harina tortillas but she said she likes the store bought flour tortillas better

gonna do em in the performer on CI griddles I got seasoned up with some help from Bryan ... pretty excited about it, my first CI cookware (not including some grill grates)
