What options for burner tube locating/mounting screws?

I've simply drilled them out and then used stainless carriage bolts (heads on the inside) with stainless wing nuts and flat washers
yea I'm going to give that a try if it don't work, got it soaking in another squirt of pb blaster overnight.

While you are waiting on the PB Blaster did use a good center punch on the frozen screw to give you drill bit a good starting point. This would keep it centered and away from box casting. Also start the bit slower RPM till it gets some depth into the screw you do not want to over heat the bit.

If you are drilling out a bolt or screw, you should be using a centering bit to start with.

Don't use regular drill bits use the pilot bits. They won't walk around I can't find them now I always forget exactly what they're called. Hopefully Bruce will put the link up for them again

Thanks Bruce. I always forget what they're called but I have found them to be indispensable. Hazard Fraught carries them readily as well
