Nothing is missing (assuming you have the bar that is attached to the frame where it swings)

That little curved part at the end of the L bar fits into the plastic slider hole in picture 1

But I also want to know what that is in place of the wood. It looks synthetic and something I would be interested in using. Please let us know and post a link if possible.
