What is a holiday roast?

So I was at Fry's today (owned by Kroger's) and they had a "Holdiay Roast" for sale @ 3.77/lb.

Anyone know what it is? Best way to cook?

Thanks,
Brett

It could be anything. Well, not anything because it's not expensive enough to be an awesome cut of meat like a rib roast.

You need to ask someone in the meat department what specific cut of meat it is.

Also, you should suggest in a nice way that you prefer to select and buy meat based on the names of real cuts of meat, not make-believe names like "holiday roast".

Regards,
Chris

I'm told that it is a NY strip loin roast. Still not sure of what that is, but at least I have some name for it.

Thanks,
Brett
