Weeknight Pizza

After a hectic week, we've been having kind of a fast food splurge. My wife has done cheeseburgers a couple of times around some leftovers. It's been a while, too long, since I've done any pizza so we decided on that. Here are a few pic's.

This is my wife's favorite Pizza. It has artichoke hearts included with the other toppings.

Topped hers with crumbled goat cheese after it was done.

Here is my pathetic, misshapen, trapezoid looking pizza.

Crusts came out good.

Mine done.

Dinner.

Kind of whipped through these fast as it was late and cold. Great tasting pizza. Used whole wheat dough this time from Trader Joe's. My wife really liked it so I will use it again. Thanks for looking!

Hey Cliff I think they both look great. Barb and I a week or so ago did up six pizzas on the kettle pizza and froze them. On those days when were busy and tired we don't want to cook a big meal we grab one out of the freezer and into a 350 oven for about 20-25 minuets and dinner is ready. Or because they are already cooked you can nuke them also.
They are so much better than a frozen store bought pizza.

Cliff, I'd happily sit down to that misshapen trapezoid anytime. Awesome cook my friend. Ive yet to do pizza on my Performer but it's definitely on my list of musts.

Pizza is good any time and they are so much fun to make. Like Rich said we froze six after cooking them, great for nights you don't want to cook.
