Weeknight Cheeseburgers

Everybody busy tonight. One daughter had trumpet lessons, son had basketball practice. So we decided to make cheeseburgers as soon as everyone was home.

First step was Kim mixing hamburger, worcestershire, chopped onions, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Then she made patties and condiments

Meanwhile I was outside frying some potatoes.

Once the burgers were on it was go time so I only got an action shot while the cheese was melted.

Plated with the potatoes and bacon we cooked indoors.

Simple meal but the kids loved it so that's all that matters. Thanks for looking!

Simple meal yes, but sometimes those are the best, and most importantly, the kids loved it! My wife and I are relieved when the meal is simple, but the kids love it, too!

That burger looks good enough to have seconds...and thirds....

We cook together a lot. A lot on the grill but also a lot on the stove or in the oven. It's a lot of fun and we enjoy it. She is awesome and I did pour her a glass of wine!
