Tony and Luke: I will do this at times on my Performer with the foil. Keeps the air flow on
the coals and keeps the indirect side cooler. That's the reason I do it, George may be doing
it for a different reason.

Looks great! Is that foil to reflect the heat back up to the chicken? Haven't seen the indirect side foiled like that before.

I have used foil in the past to catch errant drippings for gravy, I usually chute it back into a foil pan. Not sure if that was the intention here but hey! it looks great!
