yes just as long as it is not registered log onto weber site make a account add your grill with the serial number say you bought it in 2005 they dont have any way to find out if you are the org owner or not then call weber and tell them you need a new hood and cook box i had to send pictures of my hood and cross your fingers when i got mine there were only 6 cook boxes and 7 hoods left

Unfortunately by the time I acquired my Summit Platinum there were no new cookboxes to be had. I made steel panels to cover the burned out areas, I am waiting on a new lid from Weber. It’s mostly finished and everything works. I will need new flavorizer bars shortly.
