Lol. The Silver C I picked up many years ago. Was my first Weber. Walked into my local HD October time and it was 25% off all assembled grills. When I asked for one, they brought me a boxed One. Didn't complain and I took it. Then as the family grew and we made Pool party BBQs, we sorta outgrew the C. My wife got me the S670 for my Bday.( It is now 13 years old and needs a tune up.) So we "retired" the C to the pool. My kids love grilling as much as me and they love having their friends over and do their own grilling @ the pool. Q is for traveling, and the Smokefire for smoking. I'm a Weber fan all the way.

Rebuilt the 670 today. Started at 11:00am, finished at 4:00pm. Did it myself going at my own slow pace. Since Covid my stamina just isn't the same as it used to be.... I replaced the cookbox which was warranteed by Weber. Bought a new manifold(came with knobs) IR burner and burner box and IR gas line. New electrode and thermocouple. New heat shield.I had a new control panel sitting in the attic, weber sent it because the old one was worn out. I do have a brand new hood on the attic, but couldn't carry it down myself. New Flavorizer bars are RCplanebuyer Truthfully the old cookbox wasn't rusted as bad as I thought it was, but after 13 years, I wanted to fix this grill up. Frame was great except for some tiny rust spots which I touched up with some spray paint.
