I always wanted a Weber gasser, but never thought I could afford one. I found this on CL for $35 and when I first looked at it I almost walked away. A little elbow grease and paint and now I have a 2001 Weber Genesis. I thought this was a fine cooking machine until I got the GrillGrates......now it is a super cooking machine. I had a little doubt about them, but after some recommendations and reviews I thought I would give them a try. In all my 71 years I think it is one of the best grill accessories I have ever bought.

Now that you have the GrillGrates you don't really need the smoker box for your pellets. You can set the pellets
in between the rails of the Grates and they smoke just fine, and with more coverage if you spread them out. Enjoy.
