Weber Pulse 2000 going away???

It looks like Weber might be discontinuing this high end electric grill. They are normally priced at least double this price. I imagine the Lumin is the replacement.

That low price would only get you a small regular Q. I agree that Weber is putting their efforts behind the Lumin. To me, the value of the Pulse is if you are in Europe or otherwise can have and run a 220 model. I bet one of those does get very hot and fast.

It does take a while to heat up, but I can verfiy they will get up over the 500 degree mark easily even on a 110 outlet.
