Weber Performer Gas Assist Blowing Out

My Performer gas assist has been hard to keep lit lately.

I have converted to the larger 20# tank through the adapter, not sure if this has anything to do with it. I am going to try the small green tank and see if it helps.

I called Weber CS and they told me the large tank converter is only for the Q models.

I have cleaned out the burner tube and I am still having this issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check to see if a spider or other insect has set up home in the venturi. Common occurrence here in Kenya!

Regulator gone bad? If you have an in-line "fuel gauge" - ditch it.

Are you turning the tank on and off properly ?

Problem solved. It turned out that the brass fitting that connects to the burner tube needed to be cleaned. I poked a very thin wire in there and we are back in business.
