I’ve yet to use flavor bars that the center burner isn’t all over the place. I bent down the small side of the hanger on one set (so it can’t slide further forward). That worked very well.

Welding them in is a solution in search of a problem and pretty unfair to the person you pass that on to.

Likewise. Maybe you can find a YouTube video on installing burner tubes that doesn't require welding them in. The people that buy your "restorations" will appreciate it.
