I’ve yet to use flavor bars that the center burner isn’t all over the place. I bent down the small side of the hanger on one set (so it can’t slide further forward). That worked very well.

Welding them in is a solution in search of a problem and pretty unfair to the person you pass that on to.

Likewise. Maybe you can find a YouTube video on installing burner tubes that doesn't require welding them in. The people that buy your "restorations" will appreciate it.

I haven't really paid much attention to those for a while. I guess they are probably getting more and more scarce every day, but $75 + $16 shipping is getting pretty steep for one. New or not.

The ad says it sells for $40 in stores, lol. I really like how those look. But am not fond of how flimsy they feel. I have not ever had one mounted on a grill though.

They don't sell in stores any more. The last place I saw them sold by an established merchant was some Farm and Barn type store in Indiana or Illinois selling them and it was just some old stock as they didn't have many.
