Weber Grill Pizza Stone

IMO, it's not worth a ton. New ones are $59canadian pesos. It's just a 13" pizza stone that fits on their gourmet grate system. There really isn't any benefit of having the weber stone vs a generic 13" pizza stone. I can put a generic 13" stone on top of my grates and it'll do the same job.

My understanding is it’s best to elevate your pizza stone to get the top of the pizza into the heat in the dome, otherwise the bottom burns and the top doesn’t cook fully.

So the Weber gourmet grilling system stone sounds counter productive.

I aim to get a stone and bake some pizzas so I'll give this a try. It makes perfect sense.

Garry,

When I use my E330 for pizza I'd put the stones over the sear burner. I experimented a bit and found stacking two raised the stone and let me crank the heat up on high with all burners.
