Weber Griddle First Cook

Did breakfast for dinner last night and was pleased with the results. I can see I will be using this thing a lot. This is my first griddle so can’t say how it stacks up against the competition, but I’m really happy so far.

Got mine today, after seasoning did some smashers for dinner (too hungry for photos).

Agree initial impressions are great. My only nitpick after actually handling it in person is I’m afraid the lid is going to fly off in the wind. I’m guessing the two holes to the back of the griddle are for a later proper hinged accessory, but not including that as part of the base is the only miss so far.

I kind of like the fact you can take the hood all the way off if you want and it just takes a second to put it on or lift it off. It is almost like the kettle bale system.
