Weber Flame Gas Fireplace

I have an opportunity to buy one of these. I've never even heard of them before, but it seems really cool and rare, which makes me want it. The guy says he has the side panels, but the top piece is missing. Anyone have any idea how hard it would be to fabricate a new top? Looks like a thin sheet of metal could be bent to fit fairly easily. He's willing to go down to $125 since the top is missing. Sounds like these things were expensive new, but $125 still seems like a lot. Is it worth it?

I believe the tops are ceramic coated like weber lids. However, I suppose you could easily get by with another type of fabricated metal. That being said, I would not pay $125 for it. I think they were $600 new however.
