does have a chip in the paint that I should be able to touch up and blend in with high heat ultra. I guess I can't complain for the $20 I paid for it.
I think I'm going to put this stuff on the Genesis Gold C I already have. It was in pretty much new condition anyway and I'm not wasting brand new parts like these on a flip. I have all new internals for it so it would be the closest thing to an actually brand new grill. At least that's what I'm thinking now.
I'm always on the lookout for this kind of stuff. People get warranty replacement items and then never put them on their grills for whatever reason. After it sits in the garage for an appropriate time they decide to sell it off.
I am guessing since he warmed up to that C so well, that he would. I don't think I could ever own a "trailer queen" grill... unless something crazy comes along...

That would potentially be an extra nice contrast. Although it had a black painted frame, it is kind of like the 1st gen Summit with a black hood which had nice contrasting stainless and black aspects:
