Water Pan Cleaning

I didn't do a search. On my fone. What is theasiet way to clean the water pan. I normally foil it. But didn't this last time and it sat. Any help for stuck on crispies on the water pan.

Soak the pan in hot, soapy water to loosen gunk inside the pan and smoke residue on the outside of the pan. A non-abrasive cleanser like Soft Scrub can also be used. Scrub, rinse, and dry thoroughly.

Would it work to soak it in some VERY hot water for about an hour? This worked for me with my old electric smoker.

I just use the dishwasher with my 22's pan. Grates too.

I have used oven cleaner and a spatula and it got clean quick.

I have used oven cleaner and a spatula and it got clean quick.

Oven cleaner works great and they even make it for oven/grills. Took the nasty stuff off the inside of a used grill I bought in about 10 minutes. I then rinsed well with dish soap and let it dry.
