Walmart charcoal

Just a heads up, I finally got around to using said charcoal which I bought to compare. The black bag.
Well, don't bother buying any, lol
I'm smoking some goose pastrami today and used a small snake to keep the temp down. The charcoal ashes over bad and does not like to get the adjoining coals started.
If you shake it up it will burn ok, .. till it doesn't.
Maybe in a grill it would be ok, but I've had enough fun with it.

I have had nothing but horrific experiences with charcoal from Walmart. Have bought the black bag and Royal Oak lump from two seperate ones. I am convinced they store charcoal outside in the rain until ready to sell.
