Just came back from walmart in Bloomsburg Pa.

Got a new charcoal shipment since I was there last.

Lots of kingsford, Original, Mesquite, Hickory
but no competition.

Wonder if their going to carry the competition ??

Out this way, no comp @ Lowe's or WM.
HD has a newly arrived pallet cept no price was listed, and none of the " can I help you " folks have a clue of what the price is going to be.

Here in Costa Rica I only found Kingsford Charcoal which costs around 12 dollars for an 8 lb. bag. The Costa Rica Lump Charcoal is much more affordable and pretty good. I generally use Lump and a few Kingsford Briquettes to start the fire.

Here in Mass, they seemed to be working on the seasonal area in my local Walmart. Big charcoal area with kingsford, Walmart brand and Roal Oak...but no competition.

tulsa's home depot got comp a couple weeks ago. i had been checking off and on for awhile. just finished a bag recently. it was good but i'll stick with good old hasty bake(ozark) lump

The new K is $.75 per pound. When I worked in a supermarket as a kid, brisket didn't cost that much.
