Wacky Ribs

Yesterday I spent 3 hours at my sons place waiting for cabinets to be delivered. So I turned on the TV news
and they were showing how to make ribs from a Chicago restaurant with a name that has escaped me. Their
chef show the prep, with the rub, how they smoke them, how to make their sauce and so on, pretty much like
lots of folks smoke ribs. Then he said that at the restaurant when the ribs come off the smoker, they cut them
up and deep fry them (no breading) for a minute and dunk them in the sauce. That sounds like something that
I need to try.

I have seen where others bread the ribs and deep fry them no smoke or anything, but smoked and then fried
and sauced is enough to force me to find out. Going to get some ribs now for tomorrow.....

Has anyone here tried these or a variation of them?
 
Ok i'm going to try this...... I think my next batch of ribs i'm going to "sacrifice" a half a slab and do some serious scientific research here.
