Votenli Flavorizer bars and burners

I just got the two sets that I ordered recently for the sale price. Upon opening them up I immediately noticed a difference on the flavo bars. They have the slight bend on the bottom edges that I have seen on other sets. I really don't think it makes a difference one way or the other. Maybe they just look a bit cooler. Upon lifting the sets, to include bars and burners, they seemed very close to the same weight as the old sets. So, I decided to open a set of each and find out for sure.
This is what I found:
The old flavo bars are "slightly" heavier than the new ones, but only to a point it is insignificant.

Regarding the burners which have been the weak point of this offering. The new burners are clearly a different design. First, they are significantly heavier on the new set than they were on the old sets. Actually, they are more than twice as heavy on the new ones. 2.24lbs vs 1.14lbs......WOWIMG_20250613_104403.jpgIMG_20250613_104534.jpg

Now regarding the real issue most people experienced with the old burners....the middle burner on the old set falling off the valve when installed.
It seems Votenli has been listening to the complaints. The middle burner is close to 1/4" longer on the new burners. The proof will be when I install a new set in one of my rehabs, but I am quite surprised and happy to see they changed the burners. The length increase along with the obliviously more robust build evidenced by them doubling the weight of the burners makes these perfect for either rehabs or even keeper grills IMO.

I just thought that maybe they are using lower quality Stainless Steel, but I will go out and check each set with a magnet and report back.

I am not sure but I have NEVER had a problem with the length of the Xover tubes on Voltenli sets and I do know the new ones are the exact same length as the older version. So, basically, I have no concerns about that at all.
I have used probably 20 sets in the past.

Can’t thank you enough for this write-up. I just received mine yesterday and was dreading the burners but now I’ll be glad to use them.
