Vortex Fried Chicken

This was super easy and tasty! I used vortex to kettle fry some thighs. I used a light brushing of mayo and then added the dry batter. The grill was upwards of 550 degrees and the chicken was on for less than 30 minutes. I will definitely do this again. The wife does not like chicken on the bone but she gave it a try and loved it! Next time I will add some drumsticks too!

It was store bought Andy's Chicken seasoning. One of these days, I will try to make my own but this was super easy and came out great.

Yep, the Vortex is seriously the chicken cooking weapon of choice! Those thighs look like I want to eat them! Shoot, I just saw a deal on thighs this morning and for whatever reason, I didn’t get any!
So you did a mayo “wet” and an Andy’s “dry” ? Not dry wet dry? Heavier breading but, maybe that’s a preference of mine.
Sounds dandy, either way!

Correct, just mayo and then dry. I may try the heavier batter one day!
