The reason I had a 1st gen as opposed to second gen is I bought mine when they were closing out the 1st gen ones to bring in the "new" supposedly "better". Said "I'll take the older one"
I know that you have experience with both, thanks for your evaluation. Perhaps someday I’ll get to see a first generation, but I won’t hold my breath as both models are suffering the same fate of lack of replacement parts.
