Not sure, but probably not worth the $$$ they fetched before the re-introduction of the 14.5. It's value now is pretty much limited to collectors - which may be significant. Timing would be everything.

I think you did the right thing. However, your post made me think of something - I wonder how compatible the parts are for a 1880 versus the new 14.5" model. Let's say the one you saw was in good shape but missing a part or two. Replacing the part wasn't an option in the past unless it was a Smokey Joe part. Now bringing life back to an old 1880 may be an option where in the past, not so likely.Both missing water pan, 1880 missing charcoal ring,
