Used Weber Performers

Howdy, Folks!

Haven't been around much lately. Life interrupted my passion for cooking on my Webers.

Can anyone point me to information about what used Perfomers are selling for? Lately, several have come up in my area but I have no idea if the asking prices are reasonable or out of line. I've been shopping CL for 22.5" OTG's for my son-in-law who just moved into his first house where he can have a grill. I'd like to get him either the OTG or - if the price is right - a Performer.

Can anyone help?

Well there have been a few people who have picked them up as low as $50 lately on here. It really depends on your area, the condition of the performer, the year, etc.

Also depends on how bad you want one and how much you are willing to pay. I think $ 100 to 150 is doable if you are a little patient.

I don't know if this helps much but its hard to pin down an answer.

R, I would go with a Performer myself. They can be had in our area for $50. There had been a rash of them in the DFW area for awhile. I looked for 2 years, they rarely showed up. After I got mine they were everywhere!

I think Bob H. makes a good point. But don't spend more than $20 for a Craigslist OTG. Okay, I admit it, maybe I'm a little cheap.

I got my last OTG at a garage sale for 5.00 cleaned it up got a new grate and was ready to go, performers are rare around here also.

I still want one but I'm happy with this while I wait.

1st gen Performer ?
2nd gen Performer ?

Example...
A 2nd gen Performer in good shape just sold here fast @ $95.
