Just had my new 22.5" WSM delivered from Amazon.....that sucker is heavy! Thought I could hide the box from my wife for a few days....not sure now. Can't wait to start cookin!!!
 
Excellent! Now slap some food on the grates, get that thing dirty and take some pics to post in the photo gallery!:wsm:

Welcome aboard! i remember the day my 22 came, you're right too big to hide. once mine came the wife told me i was done with "toys" for a while, but she loves the food. that's the angle you gotta keep playing, plus i like what James said, that's always a good start too.
 
Yes the 22.5" WSM is a heavy huge box..no need to hide. My wife, son coworkers are always asking when am I BBQing again. Very ez to use and excellent smoker.
 
HAHA! Thanks everyone. Her maiden voyage won't be until Thursday. Having a big cookout for the 4th. Looking forward to the "set it and forget it" ease compared to my Chargriller Super-pro with the SFB. That thing always needs babysitting to keep temps in line, but always turned out good 'que.
 
I told my wife i won my 22.5 in a bbq pic comp!....as i already have a performer and spirit in our very small (15ft x
40ft garden)....first time i made ribs for her uncle and aunt all was forgiven...box chopped up quick and put in the recycling bin!
 
I just ordered mine today!:wsm: The wife has loved the experimental smoking on my charcoal grill that she had no problem letting me get one. Cant wait to smoke on a real smoker!!
