Up until a week ago Saturday I had never heard of 'moinks'. I stumbled across a thread about them and thought "What the heck". So in a hurry up rush to slap a few together, using foodstuff around the house, I came up with these:
Store bought, pre-packaged meatballs, bacon, and no name BBQ sauce... All I can say is "Yum! Where have you been all my life?!"
Sweetie and I ate them like candy.
After skimming around through other great food ideas, yesterday was my first shot at "Roadside Chicken". It goes without saying it won't be my last shot at it- wow was that good bird. Moist and full of lots of flavors. mmm-mmm...
Somewhere in between there was a couple of fat rib-eyes from Copp's, done my favorite way with everything in the spice cabinet thrown on and then covered with zesty Italian dressing to marinade, but they disappeared before I could catch them with a camera. Soaked in the dressing sure does add interesting flavor combos.
On a side note: it sure is nice to be grillin' without the snow.
