Trying to decide between EX4 and EX6

Pellet usage is one thing I checked while comparing the two. It wasn’t a precise comparison but my EX6 did burn noticeably more pellets. The EX6 cook chamber has 50% more volume than the EX4 so it makes sense .

Thanks Lew. It does make sense, and is somewhat a factor in adding the smaller, but honestly the biggest factor is I just want another one

Besides, I have had to double up on Smokefire and a kettle as the EX6 just gets loaded up with sides or whatever. So, yeah justified haha

A year ago I just wanted anther one so I know that feeling. I picked up a Gen1 EX4 with the Gen2 upgrade for $450. It was in excellent shape and the owner delivered it to my house. No regrets.

If it”s a Gen 2, having the new, one piece auger, I would sure give it a good look.
