I've been away from the forum a bit since work has gotten busy but thought I'd submit another "trip report" today since I was able to have a little fun after after work on this week's business trip.
Here's a couple of photos from Hogs Wallow Pub. Awesome wings and potato salad, ribs were good to. Didn't get food picks but did grab a few other pics
Atmosphere inside is really cool and has fun decor. Live music on some nights as well. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it. Location = 3200 E Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121 Definitely try the wings - just the right amount of spice and smoke!
The "Believe In Beer" scarf/banner was my favorite decoration inside Hog's Wallow Pub
Here's the sign outside. It's in an out of the way location, but apparently it's pretty popular with the locals. Plenty of room on the patio and inside the bar area. And they have pool table too.
This cool old car was parked outside the pub. I've never seen a Volvo like this one before! Does anyone know what model and year it may be?
Here's a good sunset pick I got from a 30 minute out and back hike @ Corner Canyon, in Draper which is one of the 'burbs south of Salt Lake City
Finally, a good mountain pic from the following day. This was about a mile up into the Wasatch Nat'l Forest at Storm Mountain Amphitheater.
