Howdy folks!!! Just a simple dinner of steak and taters and some grilled carrots! Love those grilled carrots which again I would not even attempted if it wasn't for this site(thanks Mr. Lampe!)

Soaked the steak in this....

Normally I'm a S&P with some garlic butter at the end but we though we'd try it different tonight!

Taters and meat moved back to chill for a few while I got the baby carrots rolling!

Delicious looking meal Morgan! Don't believe I have seen that garlic marinade before. Is it local to Alaska and how was it?

Morgan,
I've been checking the weather in Juneau for about a week now, and it's always been:
low in the thirties, high in the 40's and rain, every day!
So I commend you on your always upbeat posts, not sure I could stay so upbeat.

And I want to commend you on a fine tri tip, carrot, and tater cook, everything looks terrific!

Thank much for the kind response...

Mike my wife picked up the marinade but here is a site...
http://www.omgoliveoils.com/.
It was ok...didn't knock my socks off by any means...we are trying to reduce some salt intake...first thing my daughter asks is "wheres the salt?"

Bob...thanks, it has been a cold wet may so far, but that is ok! If I was afraid of the weather we'd never eat! Been here much I my 40 plus years with exception to a few in San Diego in the Navy...pretty much use to life as a duck!!!

Dan...highly recommend the carrots!! First time I saw them was on this site from Jim L's post! Love them!!! My wife's favorite grilled veggie now!
