Today's RedHead Find.


 
Picked this up today for $20. All the side tables are there and this is the first that I have found with the black knobs. Not sure if they are original to this or not as the ignitor is grey.

Yes, the black knobs are original - even though the igniter is gray. Just how they did it. That and the metal fuel gauge holder show that you have an early Genesis - a “2” I believe. Great find. I can help you with a replica decal for that metal gauge holder. PM me if you are interested.
 
Looks like a mix of old and newer. The narrow wood slats and part of the frame are newer. The older frames had a single lower bar on the bottom where yours has two. The control panel, black knobs, fuel gauge and wheels are older.
No matter though, they all cook the same and look good cleaned up.

Disregard what I wrote above. Your grill looks just like the one in the 1990 product brochure. Nice find!
